21 days after ablation

I want to say I have good news but sadly right now i don't. it isn't a failure, just have to wait I guess 4-6 months before we know if my ablation was a success. Here is what I do know. I haven't been intimate with my dh for 21 days. When we got to the 2 week mark that I was off of "rest" i ended up getting my PAP (for those of you who don't know what that means. Post Ablation Period) i got it a week early. Started with spotting for 2 days then light bleeding. now moderate bleeding and now it is 1 week and counting. I guess this is completly normal. One gal i talked to on the EA board says she had spotting for a week then PAP for 2 weeks. I will discuss this with my OB on the 28th. Needless to say dh is feeling a little neglected. I just want to get back to normal. I don't mind getting a period still. as long as it isn't heavy and normal length. i have gone through a package of light pads already. So this is where I am at right now. I am not enjoying this as I hate waiting. but i will have to wait for result. oh and the gal i mentioned above, she said after her PAP, she went 3 cycles with out AF and then now it is just a pantyliner period. oh i would love a pantyliner period

I also had an ablation on 4/29/09, almost a month later, I haven't gone a day without spotting or bleeding like a normal period. I expected spotting which I had the first 2 weeks, then it turned into a full blown period which I still have. I'm tired and fustrated with it. I am regretting the procedure and wish I had researched it more. I do feel bloating and tired all the time. My doctor insists that it's normal and will take more time. I just want it to stop, soon.
